SQL Server will give you the most benefit when tuned.
Methods
to find bottlenecks at both the server resource and individual statement level
will be discussed.
Native
utilities for accomplishing this will be covered first, and then we will take a
look at two Dell Software Tools that use these approaches: Spotlight on SQL
Server and Performance Analysis for SQL Server.
